Write to the editors: corrections, tips, advertising

The form on this page reaches the editors, and so does email to info@phuquocmedia.com. We read every message and reply by email when a reply is needed. There is no phone line.

What to write to us about

  • Corrections. A date, a route, a timetable, a rule or a name that is wrong or out of date. Travellers who have just been through the airport or a port are often the first to know.
  • News tips. An official notice we have missed, a new route, a closure, or a change to entry rules. A link to the source, or a photo of the notice, lets us check it quickly.
  • Advertising enquiries. Questions about banner positions. These are handled separately from news; see the advertise page.
  • Something else. Questions about a page, or a subject you think we should cover.

Email: info@phuquocmedia.com. The form below sends the same message to the same editors and asks which story you mean, which saves a round of emails.

What a useful correction includes

  1. Which page, and which sentence or table row.
  2. What you found instead.
  3. When you found it. Dates matter because timetables and rules change.
  4. How you know: an official notice, a ticket, a sign, or what happened on the day.

You do not need to be certain. A report that a ferry did not run on a given day, or that a notice at the airport says something different, is useful even if we have to check it against other sources before changing the page.

Sending a news tip

We publish items that can be traced to a source we can link to. If you have seen an official notice, send the link or a photo and say where and when you saw it. If you work for a public body, an airline, a ferry line or a port or airport operator, send the notice itself; we date the item by its publication.

We do not publish tips about private businesses, such as a hotel opening or a restaurant closing, unless they change what a visitor can do in a public place.

What we cannot help with

  • Booking flights, ferries, rooms or tours. The site does not sell or arrange travel.
  • Refunds or complaints about a trip you bought elsewhere. Contact the seller. On the island, the special zone's response team for tourists handles complaints about prices and services.
  • Visa decisions. Only immigration authorities can tell you whether you qualify; see the official e-visa portal.
  • Emergencies. Contact local emergency services, your accommodation and your embassy.

Writing from a public body or an operator

If you work for the special zone, An Giang province, a ministry, an embassy, an airline, a ferry line, or the operator of the airport or a port, you can send notices directly. Please include the date the notice was issued, the office that issued it, and a link to where it is published, if it is online. We date the item by the notice's publication, not by the day we receive it.

If a brief describes your service or decision incorrectly, say which sentence is wrong and send the text that shows the correct position. We correct the page, update the check date and record the change in the corrections log. Messages in Vietnamese are welcome; we publish in English and will translate the relevant passage.

How replies work

We reply by email when a message needs an answer. Corrections are checked against a source before a page changes, which can take longer than the reply; once confirmed, the change shows on the page and in the corrections log on the about page.

We do not publish your name or your message. The privacy page lists the fields the form collects and what happens to them.
